January 16-17th Training

Puppies!! Puppies!! Puppies!! This was the theme of the first training weekend session for 2010. Emily Achenbach brought up three puppies from Mexico and Charley Bartholomew brought her puppies from her Issy/Hibou breeding. Elaine Flowers & Terry Miller also joined us for a weekend of puppy breath and bitework.

Keith Jobe Has Started His Judging Apprenticeship

Keith Jobe started his judging apprenticeship at the Halloween Trial in Las Animas, CO. He was able to observe plenty of MR1 dogs, but still is in need of seeing some MR2 & MR3 dogs.

If anyone has MR2 & MR3 dogs looking to compete, please come show your dogs at the Lonestar Mondioring Club Trial December 12-13, 2009 in San Antonio, TX!

Training Weekend October 10th-11th, 2009

As schedules & weather permits, we enjoy having fellow dog people up for training weekends. This weekend, Emily Achenbach came up from San Antonio, TX to train with our club. And it's just not a training weekend with Emily without a wresting match of some sort. It was cold, rainy, windy, and quite miserable weather, but thanks to club members, Eric & LeeAnn Thomas, who brought their grill and some great burgers to the field... fun and festivities ensued.

Congratulations to Keith Jobe! In one weekend, he titled all three of his dogs! Nemo and Leila earned their MR1 and Kricket earned her MR3!
